Sixes important points that must be known when making a plastic chair mould

Plastic chairs have become an indispensable household item in the life of today. Plastic rattan chairs are the art of life, and the processing technology is much more difficult and complicated than making a wooden chair. How are these chair moulds made? Mainly grasp the following major points:

  1. The steel of the chair mould is generally made of steel of P20 or 718.
  2. Gate type: 90% of the chair molds are generally used with side gates, and some use hot runners with large gates.
  3. Demoulding: eject it on the rib by pins; if use the robot, need eject it to the top; if auto dropping, eject it down by lifting upwards.
  4. Surface treatment: lighting, skin texture, regional skin texture. China back inserts interchangeable, generally use the oblique rod to knock out to interchange, the screw rotation interchange is more advanced.
  5. The water runner design of the chair mould is no more than 1 meter. Need to test after the chair mold is finished: No furs on parting line. No flash on the legs and weld joints where are prone to flash because of poor exhaust. Stacking effect: more than 10 chairs stacked cannot collapse; the distance between two legs should not exceed 60mm when superimposed; easy to separate after stacking (superimposed ribs are generally under the cushion).
  6. Polishing: brightness. Top white due to poor polishing.

The injection machine for plastic chair mould: length = height of the chair + 140 (distance from the top to the edge of the seat back) + 220 (distance from the end of the leg to the edge) width = chair width + 140 ÷ 2. Height: Depending on the draft angle, the seat cushion can be smoothly removed. Generally, the vertical height of the seat cushion is +100 (top) + 120 (bottom). The size of the machine is determined by the weight of the product. If it is less than 2500g, it is generally 650 tons. For larger ones, it is 780 tons. The armchair and the back foot are made of U-shaped grooves or triangular grooved chairs. It takes 1000 tons and need to lengthen the nozzle.
